CREASE.

Coaching that remembers the player

AI-assisted cricket coaching · Closed pilot

Crease plans the session in front of you, around the player in front of you, and keeps the record that shows what changed.

You tell it who you are coaching tonight, and it writes that session for that person: their level, their goals, how they pulled up last time. Not a generic drill sheet. A plan for the player in front of you.

01How it works

Three steps, every session

  1. Tell it who you're coaching tonight

Pick the player. Their age, level, goals and how they pulled up after last session are already there.

  2. It writes that session

A full plan for that player, in seconds. Every plan is a suggestion the coach reviews: you stay the coach, it does the paperwork.

  3. The record builds

Check-ins, tests and sessions stack up, so next week's plan starts from what actually happened. And you can show a player, and their parents, what changed.

02What Crease does

Five things, done properly

  1. Session plans built for the player

Generated from age, level and goals. Every plan starts from who this player is, not who the average player is.

  2. Check-ins that close the loop

Pre- and post-session check-ins mean plans respond to how the player is actually going, not how the program says they should be.

  3. Junior bowling loads, counted

It counts every ball a young fast bowler sends down and tells you when they reach the published limit. The tracking you know you should be doing, done for you.

  4. Development you can see

Baseline tests and long-term tracking, session by session. Progress you can show a player, and their parents.

  5. Match scenarios as games

Pressure situations, chases, last overs, field placement, played in the nets, so match day isn't the first time it counts.

03The obvious question

Why not the free Cricket Australia app?

Fair question. Cricket Australia's MyTraining is good, it's free, and it has a national body behind it. Crease isn't trying to replace it, because it does a different job.

A library

MyTraining assembles sessions

Hundreds of well-made activities, and you pick the ones for tonight. It's a library, and a good one: if a bank of drills is what you need, use it.

A record

Crease plans the coaching

It writes the session for the specific player in front of you, from their own history, and next week's plan is different because of what happened this week.

No library personalises to one player, or holds that player's record over a season. That's the job Crease does.

Plenty of coaches will use both. The library is the drills. Crease is the plan, the player, and the proof.

04Trust

Built to be handed a junior squad

Coaching software holds details about young players. That's a responsibility before it's a feature list, and it shapes how Crease is built.

  • The junior load guard is a count and a warning, not a promise

It counts the balls and tells you when a junior reaches the published Cricket Australia limit. It never claims to keep anyone safe: that's your judgement, with better numbers.

  • The coaching knowledge names its sources

Where the evidence is strong it says so, where it's thin it says that too, and where there's no source it says there's no source. It would rather admit "we don't know" than invent a number.

  • Coaches use it. Children don't.

Crease is a tool for adult coaches. And no real player, child or adult, appears in anything we publish: every screenshot you'll ever see from us is demonstration data.

  • Nothing on this site watches you

No cookies, no analytics, no fonts or scripts from anyone else's servers. The only thing this page can ever collect is the email you type into the waitlist box, and only when you press the button.

05About

Built by a working cricket coach

Crease is built by a cricket coach who still coaches: the same players week after week, sessions planned in the car park on the way in, and a notebook that never quite kept up. It exists because those players deserved better than a generic drill sheet, and because "how's she going?" deserves an answer you can back up.

Every plan Crease writes is a suggestion the coach reviews. That isn't small print. It's the design.
