What Crease is
Crease is a cricket coaching app for coaches. You add the players you coach, and the app builds a training session around the actual player: their level, their goals, and how they pulled up last time. You run the session from your phone, record what happened, and the app keeps the development picture over time.
It is used by adult coaches. Players do not have accounts and cannot sign in. Crease is in a closed pilot with a small group of Australian coaches while it is finished.
Getting help
Email hello@creasecricket.com. Tell us what you were doing and what happened, and a screenshot if you have one.
From inside the app you can also tap the report square on the home screen (or the same option in your Profile) to send us a report without leaving what you were doing. If you were looking at a session, you can attach it, which sends us the session's id and nothing about the player.
Common questions
How do I reset my password?
Tap "Forgot password?" on the sign-in screen and enter your email. We send you a 6-digit code; type it in with your new password. If the email does not arrive, check spam, tap "Resend code", and then email us if it still does not show up.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: tap your initials in the top right corner of the home screen to open your Profile, scroll to Danger zone, tap Delete account, and type DELETE to confirm.
This is immediate and cannot be undone. It removes your players, your session plans, check-ins, skill tests, goals, your private player notes, your in-session notes, your Learn progress, your usage records and your login. If you would rather we did it, email us from the address on the account and we will.
How do I get a copy of my data?
Your Profile has an Export my data option that produces a file of everything you own. You can also ask us by email.
How do I delete one player?
Open the player, edit them, and delete. That takes their profile, their sessions, their check-ins, their test results and every note you wrote about them.
I am a parent. How do I ask about my child's data?
Start with your child's coach: the record is theirs to show you, and they can correct or delete it in the app in seconds.
You can also email us directly at hello@creasecricket.com with the club, the coach and your child's name, and ask us what is held, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. We will act on that even though it was the coach who entered it, and we will tell you what we did. What we hold about a child, and what we deliberately do not hold, is set out in section 7 of the privacy policy.
Does the app use AI, and where does my players' information go?
Yes. Session plans and reports are written by Claude, made by Anthropic. A player's first name, age and cricket details go with the request; their surname and their birth month and year never do. The full list is in section 5 of the privacy policy. Everything the AI writes is a suggestion for the coach to check, not instruction.
Something in a plan looks wrong or unsafe.
Do not run it. Change it in the plan editor, or generate again. Then tell us with the report button, because a plan that reads wrong is the most useful thing you can send us.
